During the early 1990's, a number of Christian parents who were members of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church worked together to develop approved educational facilities that catered for students from years seven to twelve. In 2001 Glenvale School became a registered independent school with one campus in Melbourne.
In the second year of operation additional registered campuses were developed at Ballarat, Berwick, Bendigo, Lilydale and Melton. In the third year, Bairnsdale, Hamilton, Nathalia and Swan Hill were added.
Although a relatively young school, Glenvale has shown the determination and ability to be progressive and innovative with the capacity to adjust quickly to the changes in education.
This progress has continued with the School now having extended learning programs to encompass primary and secondary year levels.
From the Schools' beginnings to today, dedication to the principle of ‘Learning to Learn’ continues as our motto.
We are equipping our students with the ability to think critically, process information perceptively, analyse data accurately and evaluate situations intelligently as part of their education and fulfillment of their potential.
